Illustrated vintage postcard of Peshawar city, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwah, Pakistan. The illustration shows a beautiful display of a shoe shop from Peshawar. The Peshawari Chappal (local word for flip-flops) is a traditional footwear made out of leather, worn especially by Pathans casually and formally with the Shalwar kameez dress. It is used in place of sandal or slipper in Pakistan because of its comfort.
